Who We Are

Matt’s Repair is owned and operated by Matt VanDyke, who grew up around the trucking industry. His dad owned a trucking company, so trucks were part of everyday life from an early age. As a freshman, Matt spent a summer working in his dad’s shop, learning the tools of the trade firsthand. Through high school, he continued working in repair shops, building hands-on experience. His dad encouraged him to attend tech school and eventually open his own shop. In 2006, Matt started the business that would become Matt’s Repair, originally operating out of his dad’s shop before moving into the current facility in 2014.

Quality Comes First

Not all repair shops operate the same way. Many focus on using the cheapest parts available just to get the job done. At Matt’s Repair, quality comes first. Whenever possible, Matt chooses American-made parts and components. While that may sometimes mean the work costs more upfront, the difference shows in durability and long-term performance. The goal is simple: repairs that last and equipment that stays reliable.

A Shop That Feels Like Family

Matt’s Repair isn’t just a workplace, it’s a team. Matt’s best friend of over 20 years works alongside him, and the shop’s bookkeeper has been part of the business since the very beginning and will soon be retiring. The team works well together, supports one another, and even gathers outside of work for dinners and events. That strong culture carries over into the service customers receive every day.
